Bushings
“Quick Detachable” bushings are easy to install and remove. They have a flanged design and are split through flange featuring a 4° taper, with conventional or reverse mounting, providing a thru clamp on the shaft that is the equivalent of a shrink fit. All sizes except JA and H have a set screw over the key to help maintain the bushings position on the shaft until the cap screws are securely tightened.
Applications: Sheaves, Sprockets, Pulleys, Gearbelt Pulleys, Chain Couplings, and Other Power Transmission Applications
Split Taper Bushings have a solid flange which maintains concentric bore and reduces vibration in the drive. The taper is a 3/4" taper per foot, self locking taper. The double split barrel provides positive clamping to the shaft and the external key on most (except models G and H) provides for positive drive and greater torque carrying capability.
Applications: Sheaves, Sprockets, Pulleys, Gearbelt Pulleys, Chain Couplings, Browning Drives
Taper-Lock Bushings are flangeless providing clean, compact installations. They are split and feature an 8° taper and flush mount design which eliminates protruding parts. The taper-lock bushing provides for secure locking and eliminates wobble.
Applications: Sheaves, Sprockets, Pulleys, Gearbelt Pulleys, Chain Couplings, and Other Power Transmission Applications
